I love this feature because you can set marketing automation even if you only have their free plan. There is no barrier to automate your online business if you don’t have budget.
6. Great Support Team
If you are their Pro member, you can easily contact with their support team if you face any issue.
So, there would be no problem that you’ll face.
7. Value for Money Pricing
I really like all their features as they provide value for money pricing. I don’t think that there’s another email software that provide this much amount of value at this low price.
MailerLite Review: Sending Email Campaigns
Now the most important part is sending email campaigns. You wouldn’t find any issue in sending email campaigns, if you do you can simply contact their support team.
Before sending your first email campaign, ensure to have a strong lead magnet to see good results.
Steps to send your first email campaign:
1. For sending an email, you have to go on the campaign section, click on the “Create Campaign”.
2. Next, click on the tips of mail you want to send (Regular campaign, A/B splitting, Auto-Resend, RSS Campaign)

I suggest you to choose Rich-text Editor because it’s easy to use.
4. Lastly, you have to create and send your campaign.

MailerLite Form Builder
MailerLite form builder consists of two types of forms: Pop-up Forms & Embedded Forms
1. Pop-up Forms
These forms can be embedded on your website to capture leads whenever they visit on your site. It pops up as soon as a visitor lands on your website.
You can customise your popup forms with different templates as MailerLite already have. You can customise fonts, texts, images to get whatever result you want.
2. Embed Forms
These forms can be embedded on your site, you can see an image below to understand better.
The conversion rate is better when you use them in your header. You can also embed in your footer or sidebar.
Landing Page Builder
Their Landing Pages has amazing templates to draw your attention. It can be used if you want to increase your email subscribers by giving in exchange of something like an eBook or any freebie.
If you don’t have any website like WordPress or Wix, you can use Mailerlite’s Landing Page to increase conversion rate.
You can either create your landing page from scratch or use their pre-made templates.
The page builder is super-friendly and easy-to-use. You can simply drag & drop elements like:
Page title

I’m super impressed with all its features of landing page. I found it useful because I don’t need any hosting to collect leads.
It’s awesome for those who have offline shops but want to collect leads online. Simply create a free account in MailerLite and start designing your landing page.
You can use it across all your social media platforms or even run ads by using them. You can buy the social media ad templates from “The Template Market”.
MailerLite Review: Email Automation
MailerLite Automation is very easy-to-set-up and I really like it because you can use it with your free account.
You can automate your emails for your e-commerce business for free. I was using MailChimp before but it doesn’t provide email automation with your free account.
Email Automation helps e-commerce businesses to send abandon cart emails means whenever someone leaves anything in their cart. This email automation instantly sends an email reminder that they have left something.
Automation also works when on triggers like when a subscriber joins group.
You can easily create a journey for your customers based on their actions on your website.
MailerLite Review: Plans & Pricing
This part will be your favourite because MailerLite Pricing is based on the number of subscribers you have.
You can join its platform for free for up to 1,000 subscribers and 12,000 emails a month. You will also get a 14-day free trial for its premium features.
By upgrading your plan you can use their 24/7 chat support, email templates, and auto-resend feature.
Subscribers | Emails / month | Monthly cost |
1 – 1,000 | 12,000 | Free |
1 – 1,000 | Unlimited | $10 |
1,001 – 2,500 | Unlimited | $15 |
2,501 – 5,000 | Unlimited | $30 |
5,001 – 10,000 | Unlimited | $50 |
I would recommend you to go for the $15/month plan and then increasing based on the subscriber number. All the plans allow you to send unlimited number of emails/month except for free plan.
MailerLite Integration
MailerLite allows you to integrate with some of the big platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Prolific Works (Instafreebie), WordPress, Facebook, Squarespace, Stripe.
These integrations will help you in saving a lot of time because you don’t have to manually import your contact lists.
MailerLite functionality are very easy to use as compared to other email softwares.
Is MailerLite Right For You?
Mailerlite is perfect for you if you are:
1. A Small Business Owner
MailerLite is perfect for those who have tight budget but still want a good service for sending newsletters. You can use MailerLite to make workflows, tagging, segmentation, creating landing pages for collecting leads, abandon carts for e-commerce, integrations with other tools and many more with just having a free plan.
2. If you are a Blogger or Course Creator
Beginner bloggers often confuse for choosing a good email marketing software. But MailerLite is perfect for bloggers who are interested in affiliate marketing or want to sell their online courses. This also works best for those who want to sell digital products like ebooks, planners, templates, etc.
3. Beginner Email Marketers
I really like its feature that if you are completely new to email marketing, you can join MailerLite Academy. The course seek to turn you into a MailerLite certified professional email marketing expert, the best thing is — it’s also totally free!
Cheaper than MailChimp
I have a small online business The Template Market where I use to sell Canva Templates. I was searching for an easy-to-use email marketing software which must not be too complicated and also cheaper in price.
So, I was using MailChimp because it gives you a Free Trial for upto 2000 subscribers and after that you have to pay around $30/month which is a bit costlier for me.
Then, I searched a lot and I found out something interesting about MailerLite. You can use it for free for 1000 subscribers and after that you have to pay only $15/month for upto 2500 subscribers.
It is the half price of what Mailchimp is offering. Also I have checked its delivery rate in the inbox is 65.31% whereas MailChimp has 64.06%.
Cheaper than SendinBlue
SendinBlue has an amazing feature that you can store as many contacts as you want across all plans – even the free plan.
But it is not recommended for beginner entrepreneurs because there is a limitation of sending only 300 emails per day with their free plan. If you want to send more emails you have to buy their Lite plan which is $25/month.
Whereas MailerLite’s premium plan, you can send unlimited emails with only $10/month.
If you have a good budget then you can go for SendinBlue but MailerLite has already all the features which you generally need.
Comparison Table
No. of contacts | MailerLite | SendinBlue | MailChimp Standard | AWeber | ActiveCampaign |
Up to 1.000 contacts | $0 | $0 | $14.99 | $29.99 | $29 |
2.500 contacts | $15 | $25 | $49.99 | $29.99 | $55 |
5.000 contacts | $30 | $25 | $74.99 | $49.99 | $99 |
10K contacts | $50 | $25 | $99 | $69.99 | $155 |
50K contacts | $210 | $173 | $299 | — | $345 |
Conclusion
MailerLite is suitable for all types of businesses and email marketers. Even if you are a newbie, it can be easily managed by anyone.
It is simple and user-friendly to operate and manage your subscribers.Free Plan is excellent, you can add upto 1000 subscribers with 12,000 emails.
